Faworki

Ingredients:
  • [5] egg yolks
  • [250g] flour
  • [1 tbsp] lemon juice
  • [2 tsp] sour cream or creme fraiche
  • [1 tsp] sugar
  • [as needed] vegetable oil for frying

Preparation:
  1. Mix all the ingredients
  2. Kneed to make a dough
  3. Use pasta machine or roll the dough until it's thin and springy (doesn't tear easily)
  4. Cut into small rectangular strips (0.5" x 1.5")
  5. Fry until golden
  6. Drain and sprinkle with powdered cugar
