Cream Cheese Dough

Ingredients:
  • [1/2 cup] unsalted butter
  • [4 oz] cream cheese
  • [1/4 tsp] salt
  • [1 tbsp] confectioners' sugar
  • [1 1/2 cup] all-purpose flour
Preparation:
  1. Combine butter, cream cheese and salt.
  2. Add sugar and 1/2 cup of flour. Blend until incorporated.
  3. Add another 1/2 cup of flour and blend until incorporated.
  4. Add remaining flour and blend until incorporated.
  5. Divide though into 4 balls, flatten them and wrap in plastic wrap.
  6. Refrigirate until firm (1.5 hours)
Great for popovers.
